Another emotional and steamy book by Kat Silver, the second installment of the Flameborn series, and it doesn’t disappoint.
Michael and Gabriel are two such strong characters, conflicted and yet meant for each other. Everyone wants something from Michael, it’s difficult to know who he can trust. With such terrible powers crackling under Michael’s skin you find it as frustrating as he does that no one will explain to him who is and what he is meant to do.
Prince Alexi is turning out to be more than you expect, he is growing on me, he is obviously just as persuasive through the pages of a book as he is in real life (lol!), and I am worried Michael is going to lose himself. Hopefully he retains his snarky attitude, though not enough to get himself bound!
A great second book, enough steam to keep it interesting, plenty of action and so beautifully written that you are hooked as soon as you pick up the book. Can’t wait for book three!
