A very easy to read cozy fantasy. Viv has retired from her life of sword for hire and has a dream to open her own coffee shop. She has planned her shop meticulously down to the very ingredient that will draw the right people to her.
Through the trials and tribulations of opening a new store, and introducing the strange substance called coffee, Viv comes to learn that good friends and good coffee are much more than fate. And no matter what happens, friends help each other.
A lovely, clean, low violence fantasy tale. Great characters, a wonderful coffee shop and the tiniest hint of romance. You just want to go and visit, order your coffee and tasty cake to go along with book number two in the series.
