Jocelynn Drake and Rinda Elliott have created more amazing characters. Each so lovable and strong, and yet are vulnerable in turn.
Four friends, each succesful in their own way, are always there for each other, no matter what, but in this first book in the unbreakable bonds series, introduces us to the first outsider, Andrei, to find his way into the inner circle.
Lucas, a self made millionire, is mugged and although he manages to escape he is badly injured and his friends insist he has a bodyguard. The fact that the bodyguard is so hot, and sexy as sin, helps Lucas overcome his intitial resistance. It’s a shame the body guard is straight.
All these characters have their own demons, and this series digs into all of them, but it is so addictive as we watch them find ways to cope and partners who can match them. The characters are all so lovable and warm, and so well developed that you can’t help but root for the happy ending for all of them.
This series isn’t only about finding love, there is plenty of action (the characters being ex-rangers helps!) and an overall threat plot that links the books.
An enjoyable read with some heat so be warned.
