This is the first book I read in the Once Upon a Prince series, though I must admit I am intrigued by all of them. The covers are all gorgeous.
That being said, The Winter Prince is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast, and although the bare bones of the original story is there, Lopez wraps it up in her magical way, adds her own twist, and introduces us to the amazing characters of Revi and Kerinna and the fae world of the Winter Court.
Revi and Kerinna are such relatable characters. You can’t help but cheer them on. I want to read more about them and their world!
A thoroughly enjoyable retelling of Beauty and the Beast, so easy to read, and there is so much opportunity for more tales in this world, especially about Enslo’s story. I do hope Lopez writes more.
