Such a lovely book. A warm and loving romance about second chances after unbearable loss. Cairns treats sensitive subjects with care and understanding and introduces us to a new heroine in the form of Ellie Rose.
A dedicated physiotherapist with a deep understanding of alternative therapies and how the body works, Ellie strives to set up a new practice as a way to survive after the loss of her soulmate. Through her patients Ellie discovers a drive for life and the understanding that she doesn’t have to spend her life alone.
It may be a second chance to find love, but Ellie takes life slowly and surely. This book ends up being a warm hug as both Ellie and Mark find their way, both uncertain as they overcome their losses, are they brave enough to try again?
