I’m not a fan of Nash’s darker books, but this twisty, misleading tale of morally grey characters with so many secrets they’d fill the Thames has me hooked. Dom is an ex East End mobster trying to redeem himself, Kempthorne a billionaire trying to keep deadly artifacts off the streets of London, both hiding who they really are and in the end not doing such a good job at it!
This story is jam packed with action, subterfuge, amazing side characters and of course a sizzingly love triangle to drive you nuts! The magical system is really clever and quite believable. And under every stone there is a clue to what is going on, if you can only piece the puzzle together along with Dom, Kempthorne and that sexy American. On to book two!!
