If you are a fan of Ava Silvers’ Witches of Shadow Hollow then you are in for a treat. This is the story of Hazel’s sister Willow, and having met Willow first (not having read Ava’s other books yet, though I aim to put that right shortly,) I am sure they are just as good.
Willow is a great character, having made a difficult decision and coping with the loss of her magical powers, Willow has to face more distressing news about her best friend. When their solution to the problem goes terribly wrong, Willow has to pick up the pieces and discover why. I love the sassy repartee and the heat between Willow and Dante. You know just by his name that he is going to send you up in flames and boy does he sound hot!
Add that to an unexplained curse, which could have dire results for Willow, and we are off on an adventure to discover how to break it.
Such an easy to read, enjoyable story of witches, warlocks and vampires, all with a dark thread running through which promises turmoil and disaster.
The touches of magic, the spells, and what is hiding in the shadows all hooks you in for a very enjoyable escape into the witchy coverns of southern Montana.
