Javelina’s Dragon is a Riders of Fire Dragon Masters side story about a character one of Eileen’s readers helped create. When Javelina, a circus acrobat, meets Xarian, the dragon rider sent to investigate her ex-lover’s murder, Javelina’s life is turned upside-down—and not just on the trapeze.

As we’re funded, I thought I’d introduce you to my short story, Secret Alliance.

I wrote a short story based in a brand new epic fantasy world. A world I will be writing more in, I just can’t decide whether to write the before or after to my short story! Let me know in the comments if you have a preference.

Secret Alliance is set in a world where dragons are in decline, and there is only one queen dragon, Arithvengar, remaining. She has lost her bonded rider and is grieving, no one can reason with her, so as a last resort Brachendar, the wing commander of the King’s Flight, goes off in search of the one person who may be able to reach her. The only problem is Renderen doesn’t want to be found, and he certainly doesn’t want to return to a place he fled.
