Releases: May 5th, 2025.

Are you ready to travel back three thousand years and meet the Goddess Leyandrii, her Captain, Guerlaire, and find out how the Sentinals came to be and what happened to them?

Set three thousand years prior to Sentinals Awaken, the first book in the Sentinals Series, the prequel part one delves into Leyandrii’s world before she acted to protect her people against the shadowy threat of the ascendants.

Here we get to meet Guerlaire, his friends Chryll, Anter and many more. We find out how Tagerill, Serill and Birler first meet and join them in their trials and tribulations to become a Lady’s Ranger.

Interwined is the great love story of Leyandrii and Guerlaire and how they both strive to protect the other against those who oppose them.

Part One will be available May 5th, 2025, and Part Two as soon as I can finish it, but it will be in 2025.

Going back three thousand years means we get a chance to delve into who the Sentinals really are, where they came from, and how they became Sentinals in the first place.

Up next is Serillion What do we know about him from the Sentinal series?

Serillion is one of five Sentinals woken in Greens Watch. Blond-haired and slender, Serillion hails from Marchwood. He is close friends with Birlerion and Tagerill. They first met at the Rangers Academy and graduated together. Quiet and bookish, Serillion loves to research and was often found in the Chapterhouse. He helped Guerlaire with catologuing his finds. He is horrified by the loss of the original Chapterhouse and all of Guerlaire’s records and samples.

Meet the Sentinals: Tagerill

Going back three thousand years means we get a chance to delve into who the Sentinals really are, where they came from, and how they became Sentinals in the first place.

The Sentinals were not always silver-eyed, with distinctive names and appearance, representing the absent Lady Leyandrii. They were ordinary people with hopes and dreams.

Up next is Tagerill. What do we know about him from the Sentinal series?

We know Tagerill is from a close family, one of four children. His older brothers are Penner and Versillion, sister Marianille, and younger brother, Birlerion. He comes from Greens, now called Greenswatch. His father is the Lord of Watch, Lord Warren, and his mother, Lady Melis.

The Descelles are an ancient family, long supporters of the Lady Leyandrii, and they protect the forests and lands known as Greens. Tagerill is a fiery red head, rumbunctious and loyal. We first meet Tagerill in Stoneford Watch, when Jerrol awakes the Stoneford Sentinals. He is overwhelmed by the loss of his family, only the company of Birlerion keeps him balanced and functioning.

Tagerill’s Sentinal name is Tagerillion, but he rarely uses it, often his name is shortened to Tage by his family and close friends. Tagerill loves his family and Greens. He steps up to protect Jerrol almost immediately, wielding his huge broadsword and his larger than life personality.

It’s my turn to be interviewed!

Very excited to be a guest on both the Tranquilo Retreat book blog on July 7th, 2024 and also Christina Consolini’s blog on July 15th, 2004. I had such fun talking about my writing journey, my latest books, and what’s coming next.

Also very excited to be a guest on BBC Radio Berkshire on July 17th, talking about my books and attending the Bracknell Book Fair at the Easthampstead Works where I am giving an Author Talk about my writing journey and creating magical worlds at 1pm in Bracknell Library on July 20th. Hope to see you there.

When? Saturday 20 July, 2024.
Where? Easthampstead Works, Town Square, Bracknell, Berkshire, UK. RG12 1BH
Where’s that? Go past Fenwicks and it’s the big brutalist building right ahead. But don’t judge this ‘book’ by its cover! It may be old but it’s got a big heart (and a fab coffee shop!)
What time? 10am – 4pm.
How much? Entry is FREE!

Tranquilo Retreat Blog:

A love of reading led to a love of writing.

Christina Consolino Blog:

Author Helen Garraway and I might write in different genres, but we certainly have (at least) two things in common: both of us inherited our love of reading from our mothers, and we started writing somewhat late in the game. Despite her delayed start, Helen is doing something exactly right: she’s an award-winning and USA Today and Amazon bestselling author whose books are called “intelligent,” “compelling,” and “amazing.” Read more …

My latest book:

OblivionGate

Having survived Apologia and faced down the Angelic Assembly, Demavrian has every right to be feeling triumphant, but the threat hanging over his head from the vengeful god, Kaenera, is enough to snuff out any celebrations.

His fledglings are distraught and in disarray, Solanji’s brother is still without a soul and Solanji has no idea how her SoulBreathing works. He has no idea how to manage the Oblivion Gate and even with his Gate Wraith’s help, the burden of the soulless banging on the door may be his undoing.

Kaenera is poised to strike back and if Demavrian doesn’t learn the secrets of the Oblivion Gate fast enough, he may be the shortest lived Gate Keeper in history.

OblivionGate is the third enthralling book in the Fantasy Romance SoulMist series full of vibrant characters, political intrigue and betrayal.

Book Six of the Sentinal Series – Final book in the series completing the set!

Release Day: October 11th, 2023

It’s Launch day! Sentinals Destiny is live! I am so excited to share the last installment of the Sentinal series, the sixth book. It seems unreal that in three years I have released a complete Epic Fantasy series! And another beautiful cover from Jeff Brown Graphics.

Sentinals Destiny

Birlerion’s leave of absence is up and it’s time for him to return to work. Before he has time to sit behind his desk, or discover the source of the brooding threat that is hovering over him, he is sent off to Terolia to negotiate with the families for a bride. The succession must be protected and it’s time for Anders to marry.

As he travels through the deserts, he realises that it is the Veil that is hunting him, and it wants his blood. But no one will listen to his concerns about the Veil. The healers believe he is struggling to adjust after his recent traumas. Their arguments are persuasive and overrule saner minds.

Betrayed by those he loves, driven by an oath invoked by the king, and with only Jaredion and Leyarille to protect him, Birlerion goes on the run across Vespiri, Terolia and into the islands of Birtoli, the home of the Oath. If he doesn’t discover a way to stop the Veil from killing him, it will not only be his life that is lost, it will be all of Remargaren that is destroyed.

Book six of the Sentinals Series, Sentinals Destiny, is the final book in the saga of Remargaren, a vibrant, ancient world of high fantasy suffused with magic and adventure.
